Founded in 1961, our client is a pioneering organization created by parents advocating for the rights and opportunities of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The leadership is committed to building the services that individuals express a need for while breaking down barriers to accessing the broader community.
Human resources regularly encountered significant challenges when it came to healthcare access for their employees. Common issues included:
These issues contributed to frustration and gaps in care for employees, making it clear that an innovative healthcare solution was needed.
In response, the client set clear goals aimed at improving healthcare access and employee well-being:
They envisioned an onsite health clinic to make care more accessible for its 600 employees, but many proposed solutions involved substantial capital investments. Partnering with a benefits consultant, they were introduced to ModRN Health. Together, they took a consultative approach, transforming existing facility space into a fully functioning healthcare clinic without significant expense.
On February 1st, 2024, the client proudly launched their onsite clinic with the grand opening of “Health at Work.” Powered by ModRN Health, this comprehensive wellness program was designed using the client’s brand colors and themes to resonate with employees and promote engagement. The clinic became a hub of healthcare access for the entire community, catering to both employees and their families.
The clinic provides day-to-day care for minor health issues, while also addressing more complex medical needs such as minor procedures, remote heart monitoring, and the management of autoimmune diseases. The results have been overwhelmingly positive, with staff reporting satisfaction with the ease and convenience of care.
…access to convenient, affordable healthcare is essential for a healthy life.

I hadn’t been to a primary care provider in probably ten years. Nurse Sahar was so kind and knowledgeable and made sure I had a full workup. It was so easy—I don’t know why I was putting it off.
